Handmade weighted blankets in Europe
Originating in Poland, we are the only company in Europe that produces weighted blankets in-house. From the very beginning, it was clear to us that we wanted to take the production of the blankets into our own hands, as this is the only way we can ensure that our products meet our quality standards.
With great dedication, we handcraft each individual therapy blanket. By largely sewing to order, we prevent overproduction and thus conserve our planet's resources.
Use of high-quality materials
We only use certified cotton (Oeko-Tex Standard 100 seal), which is sustainably grown in Spain, for the production of our weighted blankets. All fabrics we use for the production of therapy blankets are comfortable on the skin, odorless, and do not cause irritation.
Unlike many other manufacturers of therapy blankets, we have opted for glass beads instead of plastic beads to weight our weighted blankets. These are of higher quality and contribute to a breathable heavy blanket. The glass beads are manufactured in the Czech Republic and consist of 85% silicon dioxide (SiO2) and sodium oxide (Na2O).
For the filling of our health pillows, we source Swiss pine wood from sustainable forestry in Austria. The Swiss pine wood comes exclusively from naturally fallen or dead trees.

In addition to sustainability and economic efficiency, we are deeply committed to creating jobs and appropriate working conditions where the company history of SensoRex and Therapiedecken.de began. That is why the entire manufacturing process takes place in our own production facility, which we are constantly expanding and optimizing.
We ensure that each of our employees has the necessary working environment to feel comfortable. Because we want everyone to enjoy coming to work with us. People with mental and physical disabilities are also fully integrated into our work processes from the outset.
