Social pedagogue & educator

"I am often told that students have difficulty concentrating. I gladly recommend the therapy blanket to wind down."

Every day, tired parents contact me in my work as a sleep coach because their children do not sleep or sleep very poorly. Fortunately, it does not have to stay that way! Sleep coaching is a needs- and attachment-oriented way to concretely help these families and significantly improve both sleep and quality of life. Through coaching, the reasons why a child sleeps poorly are evaluated, and the optimal approach to improve the situation is derived for each individual case.

In my constant search for solutions to sleep problems, I became aware of the therapy blanket: The weight of the blanket, which acts on the entire body, helps children and adolescents to relax. In addition, the release of the sleep-important hormone melatonin is stimulated, and at the same time fewer stress hormones are produced. Thus, the blanket represents a very suitable method to improve falling asleep and the overall sleep situation.

The way the therapy blanket works knows no age limits. In my work as a social pedagogue at a school, I am in daily contact with children, adolescents, and parents. I am often told that students in various grade levels have difficulty concentrating and find it hard to pay attention or sit still. In such cases, I also often find that the affected children and adolescents have trouble falling asleep relaxed in the evening. I gladly recommend the therapy blanket to "wind down" and fall asleep better. Because restful sleep is the basic prerequisite to be able to follow lessons attentively the next day or to perform well in daily professional life as adults.

By now, my whole family sleeps with a weighted blanket. And especially my children really like the cozy fabric.

Great product that I highly recommend.
