How did you come across the concept of therapy blankets?

I became aware of the site through an ad on social networks. I have already heard quite a bit about the concept of weighted blankets among my friends and acquaintances, and mainly positive experiences have been shared with me. 

How do you yourself experience using a weighted blanket? 

I myself sometimes have trouble calming down before important competitions. However, restful sleep is an absolutely necessary prerequisite to deliver the best possible performance. After the first few nights were initially a bit unusual, as the weight of the blanket noticeably makes movements in bed more difficult, I noticed a significant improvement in my sleep in the following nights. The weight of the blanket has a very calming effect. 
Furthermore, I find the weighted blanket very balanced. It is balanced in such a way that it is heavy, but I do not feel crushed. Additionally, I find the cover comfortable and very pleasant and natural to the touch.

In your opinion, is the use of therapy blankets sensible in the field of sports?

In my experience, there is a wide range of aids in high-performance sports that contribute to regeneration. Some approaches are applicable to almost all athletes, but a large part of regeneration also consists of recognizing individual needs and acting accordingly. I have definitely expanded my personal portfolio for better and faster regeneration with the weighted blanket. 
I mostly use the weighted blanket at home and during important measures abroad. 
 

Where are you already successfully using therapy blankets? And where do you still see potential?

From the concept of the blanket alone, it follows that transport is relatively difficult, as the blanket on the one hand takes up a lot of space and even more weight. Therefore, I believe that the use in professional sports is very sensible and helpful, but it conflicts with the enormous amount of traveling around the globe throughout the year. 
From my personal point of view, a blanket that is at least significantly more space-saving would be especially useful for high-performance sports.

Your personal conclusion

I really like the concept of the weighted blanket. Besides the good workmanship, which I would also like to mention here, I like the natural feel of the blanket, as already mentioned above. The dimensions are even extremely comfortable for me, being two meters tall, and I can easily cover my entire body. I have also already noted the very successful weight distribution in my opinion, which exerts a soothing and even heaviness on the body. Moreover, the blanket does not lose its flexible character. Despite the weight, it can be handled like a normal blanket and is not rigid. 
By using this weighted blanket, I have noticeably more restful sleep and am more rested and productive the next day.
