Handmade weighted blankets in Europe
With our origin in Poland, we are the only company that manufactures weighted Blankets in Europe in our own production. From the beginning, it was clear to us that we wanted to take the production of the Blankets into our own hands, because only then can we ensure that our products meet our quality standards.
With great dedication, we handcraft each individual therapy Blanket. By mostly sewing only to order, we prevent overproduction and thus conserve the resources of our Earth.
Use of high-quality materials
We use only certified cotton (Öko Tex Standard 100 seal), sustainably grown in Spain, for the production of our weighted blankets. All fabrics we use for the manufacture of therapy blankets are pleasant on the skin, odorless, and do not cause irritation.
Unlike many other manufacturers of therapy blankets, we have decided against plastic beads and for glass beads to weigh our weighted blankets. These are of higher quality and contribute to a breathable heavy blanket. The glass beads are made in the Czech Republic and consist of 85% silicon dioxide (SiO2) and sodium oxide (Na2O).
For the filling of our health pillows, we source pine wood from sustainable forestry in Austria. The pine wood comes exclusively from naturally fallen or dead trees.
The people behind the manufacturing process
In addition to sustainability and economic performance, it is very important to us to create jobs and appropriate working conditions where the company history of SensoRex and Therapiedecken.de begins. That is why the entire manufacturing process takes place in our own production facility, which we continuously expand and optimize.
We ensure that each of our employees receives the necessary work environment to feel comfortable. Because we want everyone to enjoy coming to work here. People with mental and physical disabilities are also fully integrated into our work processes from the very beginning.
