Weighted blankets with a clear conscience
Sustainability and quality are closely linked for us, because only materials that are free from pesticides, poor working conditions, and resource exploitation can be used by us. We are convinced that only sustainable materials feel good on the skin.
For the production of our weighted blankets, we exclusively use organically grown cotton from Spain, which is OEKO-TEX® certified. We are in direct contact with our suppliers and thus keep track of changing conditions.
All our products follow this principle. Our health pillows are filled with stone pine wood from Austria. The wood comes from sustainable cultivation and is obtained from dead or naturally falling trees. No tree is felled by us.
In-house and sustainable production in Europe
Our company's origins are in Poland, where we have built up a lot over the past few years. We want to continue to keep production in our own hands. This is the only way we can ensure that everything runs in a way that aligns with our vision.
For our production facilities, we use green energy and, in part, solar energy. As a company that primarily works with textiles, we attach great importance to the proper disposal and separation of waste. Through our donations to institutions and organizations (more on this below), we extend the life cycle of returned therapy blankets, thus preventing additional waste and unnecessary wastage.
This is particularly important to us: We remain local. Proximity to neighboring European countries is very important to us and advantageous in many respects. Only in this way can we keep delivery routes short and save costs and energy at the expense of the environment.
Raising awareness at all levels
We don't demand perfection, but continuous development. To ensure sustainable operations as a company, it was our aim to foster environmental awareness among all employees. Through specially organized training courses, defined guidelines, and instructions, we have established a solid foundation. This supports and motivates us to act responsibly every new workday.
For us, responsible action does not stop at people. In our company, fair wages are paid, and work is carried out under fair conditions. We consider every person to be of equal value, which is why everyone receives the work environment they need. This includes people with disabilities, whom we employ and support in our production facility from the outset.
Weighted blankets for everyone
Our goal to make our therapy blankets accessible to everyone stems from the conviction that weighted blankets can have a positive effect on anyone - whether to increase well-being or to alleviate sleep disorders, pain, or symptoms of illnesses.
Not everyone has the means to invest in a weighted blanket. For this reason, it is particularly important to us that our therapy blankets still end up where they are urgently needed. A long-term cooperation already exists between us and an organization that strives to provide therapy options for autistic people. In addition, we regularly donate returned and refurbished therapy blankets to facilities and institutions that use weighted blankets and employ them with great effect.
